PianoDisc systems can be installed into almost any new or pre-owned acoustic grand or upright piano.
As the Prodigy system is so accurate at playing the piano, the piano itself needs to be in optimum condition to get the best out of it. When you enquire with us, we will ask some questions to learn about your piano and whether or not it is a good candidate for retrofitting, and if any restoration work will need to occur first.
We are the experts in installing and servicing PianoDisc self-playing piano systems, having retrofitted almost 300 systems since 2008. Our head technician is an Authorised PianoDisc Technician, and also has 25 years’ piano restoration and repair experience, so your piano would be in the best of hands.
We now offer brand new pianos with PianoDisc Prodigy pre-installed. This is a suitable option not only for first-time piano owners, but those who have an older piano that has been deemed to be unsuitable for the Prodigy installation.
We can supply uprights and grands of differing sizes and brands - please enquire with us and we can help find the right match for your requirements.
These can be delivered Victoria-wide, and other major metro areas in as little as 4 weeks.
We have a demo upright piano in our workshop in Cranbourne West – all are welcome, booking is essential.

One of our customers selected this stunning brand-new white Wertheim baby grand to have the self-playing system retrofitted into. This is one of many new piano options in the packages that we offer - Wertheim pianos are fabulous quality and very compatible with the PianoDisc Prodigy self-playing system.
This beautiful, brand new Wilhelm Schimmel baby grand arrived in a box from the factory. After assembling the piano, installing and calibrating the PianoDisc Prodigy system, and finally tuning it, we organised its safe delivery direct to the customer's residence in Canberra.
This special edition Crystal Grand Piano made by Kawai was in the workshop waiting to be delivered to its new owner in Sydney. Its cabinet is made entirely of clear acrylic (perspex)! We were commissioned to install the PianoDisc "Prodigy" player system into it, so the lucky owner now has live acoustic piano on demand, at the touch of a button on an iPad! Such a unique showpiece as well as the ultimate entertainer.
We installed the PianoDisc Prodigy II system into this stunning Steinway & Sons Model D concert grand, and after its safe delivery to its very excited owner, it was checked and tuned, and is now ready to help create many new, wonderful musical moments.
Did you know that Steinway & Sons' proprietary self-playing system, Spirio, can only be factory-fitted into new pianos? The Prodigy system therefore provides pre-loved Steinway piano owners the ability to convert their piano, at a fraction of the cost.
